HTC U Specs & Features: No Headphone Jack & Dual Camera Setup
HTC might remove some key features in their upcoming flagship smartphone device. An alleged HTC U renders leak of what people could expect in the handset, and according to it, the device will have no headphone jack and no dual camera setup.
The HTC U has been the subject of much discussion online for several reasons. It is first expected to be announced at MWC 2017, but until now, the company still have no official word on when it will appear. However, the recent news really worried a lot of the HTC fans.
According to the source, the latest image of the upcoming HTC U shows that the former Taiwanese tech giant might be shifting to a new material as far as the build goes. Although, it also looks like HTC is going to be making questionable decisions once more as far as the features set goes.
HTC is not having the greatest of times right now as far as its smartphone business goes, and removing some of the key features from its U Ultra is not helping matters one bit, says WCCFTech. With a flagship phone expected to release in the second half of 2017, the company will definitely be looking to go in the right direction.
No confirmation issued by the company about this alleged leak. Now, HTC U series fans would just hope that the upcoming device will come with a headphone jack, and if not, it might just bring another problem to the company for the rest of the year.
Other smartphone manufacturing companies already removed the 3.5mm headphone jack on their smartphone, but it doesn't justify that it really gives benefits to the HTC U device. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy S8, which is the latest smartphone today, hasn't followed the no-headphone-jack trend yet receives positive feedback from the community.
