Bixby Disappoints Samsung Galaxy S8 Users With lack of Language Support
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are now available for pre-orders in your country and here ends the era of enormous leaks. The devices seem promising with their extraordinary features and one of the most awaited features is Bixby. Bixby doesn't need any introduction as Samsung has shared every single feature of Bixby.
Although Bixby is offering strong competition to Siri and Google AI, but at one point, Bixby disappointed the users. The latest digital assistant of Samsung only supports two languages, English and Korean. Whatever we have seen or read about Bixby makes it the new age voice assistant, but it seems that all efforts are in the veil.
On the other hand, Apple and Google have managed to make their digital assistants more user-friendly and they cover wider horizons of the international audience. Apple's Siri supports 36 different languages which are far more superior to Bixby. While Google's AI supports English and German and soon the tech giant will add support for more languages.
Although Samsung has mentioned that more language support will be available for Bixby, but the company did not mention the time and the language. But based on the last leak, we can predict that the company is focusing on empowering Bixby with more 7 languages including Chinese, German and many others. Let's see which languages will be added to the digital assistant later.
Samsung is going to dominate the mobile industry with its Galaxy S8 and S8+, so it is very much vital for the company to improve its features. Bixby is the feature on which the users are very much dependent. It is important Bixby will understand user's language and vice versa.
Besides, Samsung's strong contender Apple is also speculated to launch iPhone 8 in September, which has set a deadline for Samsung for introducing more languages to Bixby. It is possible that Samsung will upgrade Bixby before Apple's iPhone 8 or iPhone X launch.
