Review: A Week With the Apple Watch

Apple OS 3.2 beta 7 for the Apple Watch has already been released for developer testing. The beta came with a subtle change to the Control Center as well as the inclusion of the Theater Mode which may disable raise-to-wake as well as mutes alerts. In the meantime, the iOS video app has been announced for an April 2017 release.

The Apple OS beta is further introducing SiriKit that allows developers to integrate their apps with Siri for selected purposes.Take note that prior to the Apple OS 3.2 beta, the SiriKit was only limited to iOS apps, 9to5mac reported.

As for the Theater Mode, Apple reveals that users may now quickly mute the sound on the Apple Watch to avoid waking the screen on wrist raise. Furthermore, users may also receive notifications as well as haptics while in the Theater Mode, which may be viewed by tapping the screen or pressing the Digital Crown.

In addition, the Apple OS 3.2 beta also reorganized the Control Center toggles. The Series 2 from top left to the bottom right will now display the Battery, Airplane Mode, Mute, Do Not Disturb, Find My iPhone, the Water Lock, Theater Mode and AirPlay in order.

Apple is further running developer betas for the iOS 10.3 for iPad and iPhone as well as the tvOS 10.2 for the Apple TV and the macOS 10.12.4 for Mac. Note that the watchOS and tvOS betas are only available for registered developers while the iOS and macOS have public beta versions.

In other news, the Apple OS is also slated to be followed by the launching of the new video app called "Clips" in April. It has been noted that the app will allow users to combine photos, videos, music and more. Users may then share their creations on Instagram, Facebook, Messages, and other social networks, Macstories.net reported.

The Apple OS makers are also touting a feature called "Live Titles" that allows users to make animated captions and titles using their voice. Effects included are comic book filters, shapes, speech bubbles and full-screen animated posters made with Clips.

It has been revealed that Clips will be similar to the iMovie app with videos featuring multiple clips and photos from a user's Photo Library or shot live. Check out more about the beta 7 below:
