HTC U Ocean Leaks Revealed Edge Sensor To Facilitate Multi Tasks

New speculations about the next HTC flagship are started trolling on the Internet. The latest reports claimed that the next HTC phone will be called simply the HTC U. It is also speculated that the new phone might be embedded with sensors in its frame that will allow it to do multipurpose tasks.  

The news is coming from VentureBeat and even eminent gadget leaker Evan reported the leaks. Both the sources claimed that the HTC U will be the third in Company's new U range of smartphone. Recently the device is given a code name Ocean.

Following the official announcement of the HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play in January, the company is looking to provide something extraordinary to the users. And it seems that HTC U Ocean will be the next device to meet the consumers' expectations.

The upcoming HTC U Ocean will have a 5.5-inch WQHD display with 2,560x1,440 resolution. It will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor inside as reported by the VentureBeat. The upcoming device will be based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

However, the eminent leaker, Evan Blass claimed that the main features of the HTC U Ocean will be edge sense. The phone will have sensors placed in its frame that will allow users to handle tasks that are normally done on the touch screen like activating the app, swapping and many others.

It is also speculated that the upcoming HTC U Ocean will have a 12MP rear camera and 16 MP front camera along with sense 9, which will be the latest version of HTC's UX skin for Android. Besides, it is highly expected that the device is going to debut in mid or late April. Although the price of the upcoming device is yet to be confirmed, but it is speculated that it might be higher than the price of current HTC U Ultra.
