LG Electronics conducts several tests to their latest flagship phone's battery, the LG G6. These recent months, the company is trying to enhance and improve their battery products thru various test and studies.

In the recent news, the LG Electronics revealed all the platforms they used to prove that their battery products, which also used in their latest LG G6 smartphone, are safe. Some of these tests include dropping a 9klg weight two feet above the battery to see if it will catch fire and explode.

One of the weird things that LG Electronics did to test the quality of their LG G6 battery is by penetrating metal nail through its body. According to Ubergizmo, this test meant to simulate what might happen if the user's pet accidentally bites the phone and puncture the battery.

After the controversial battery issues of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 last year, all smartphone manufacturers started to ensure all the battery they installed into their devices. And speaking of Samsung, they just recently announced that they will finally shut down all the remaining Galaxy Note 7 devices by issuing a mandatory software update that will stop the device to function.

According to Koreabizwire report, the LG G6 smartphone earned the "MIL-STD 810G" certificate from Maryland Electrical Testing. The handset device passed 14 tests, including humidity, temperature, vibration and solar radiation, proving itself as a suitable device for the military environment.

The LG G6 was the first to launch in South Korea earlier this month. For the global release, LG Electronics sets a schedule on April 7, 2017, for the international market.

Another news, LG Electronics launches a high-end store in Qatar to promote its premium electronic products in Middle East market. In this store, customers and visitors are allowed to try and experience the company's high-ends products, such as appliances and devices. LG already operates several stores in the Middle East, including Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and United Arab Emirates.
