Bobby Shmurda Bail Update: Remains As Is; Rapper Releases Statement!

Last December, Bobby Shmurda was arrested for serious drug and gun charges. Since then, he has been petitioning his bail however, his requests were unfortunately denied for two separate occasions.

Recently, the young Epic rapper called up Hot 97 and speaks on his bail situation. He talked to the radio personality Ebro Darden, The Boombox reported.

He explained, according to The Boom Box, there that the judge did not deny his petition during the hearing earlier this month. He was claiming for his bail to be reduced and the judge did not approve it.

More so, Bobby Shmurda also said that he has the ten percent of the whole amount of his bail post. The judge wanted him to pay the bail post wholly. His post is $2 million and according to the rapper, that the court almost tried to have his bail post raise to $2.5 million.

The 21-year-old artist also said he hasn't heard from Epic or L.A. Reid for some time which made him disappointed.  However, even if he is struggling, he managed to be in good shape, HipHop Wired.

Earlier this month, L.A. Reid explained why he cannot pay for the young rapper's bail post. In short, he's not in a position wherein he can sign the rapper's jail payment as their company is a publicly-traded corporation.

In addition, Shmurda also wanted to remind his fans not to copy his works because being in jail is never a good and fun.

 "This shit ain't sweet, he said. "To all the kids out there, my music is not for nobody to go reenact or something. It's something that I been through, it's something that is where I come from," he added.

"[The criminal justice system] is not playing with us right now. Young black men, young kids period," he said. "They not playing with nothing right now. They trying to take eight years out my life right now,";  he stated and reported by HipHop Wired.

Ackquille Jean Pollard, known as Bobby Shmurda, was on of the hottest rappers in the country. When he got arrested, he was also been preparing for his debut project after his hit song "Hot N_gga," reported by Rolling Out.

Even if he has been in jail for some time now, Bobby Shmurda wanted to share some words to people especially for the kids who consistently support him, and said;

"My music is not for nobody to go react or something," he said. "This is something that I've been through. This is where I come from," Rolling out cited.

"A lot of people don't come from where I come from, but a lot do," he added. "The people that do come from where I come from, it don't make it right to the things I talk about, to go outside and do it," Bobby said.

"It's ok to be out there in the club be dancing, be having fun, but that's about it," the rapper added.  "Don't take it farther than the club. Right now, these people in New York, they not playing with us right now," Rolling Out reported.

Meanwhile, as his reduce bail request was once again denied, he would need to sit in New York City Jail up until February 22, 2016. His fans are continuously checking for Bobby Shmurda bail situation.
