Donna Karran's ‘My Journey’ Memoir Reveals Designer Cheating On Her Husband!
Famed fashion designer Donna Karan, did not hold back in My Journey; her new memoir.
In her book, Karan reveals that while married to her first husband Mark Karan, she had a full-fledged affair for years with sculptor and painter Stephan Weiss, cited by US Weekly.
While Donna was planning her engagement party, she met Weiss; who was also married at that time. They slept together, and continued to see each other even after her honeymoon with Mark.
With the knowledge of her first husband, she continued to have an affair with Stephan. Mark and Donna divorced in 1978: She went on and married Weiss in 1983.
Donna Karan also famously known as DK grew up in Queens, New York. She was nicknamed Meatball Head, and Spaghetti Legs.
Her father, Gabby Faske, made custom suits; and her mother, Helen Rabinowitz was a temperamental, bipolar showroom model, according to Mail Online.
In 1974, Anne Klein died unexpectedly, and Donna Karan, the label's associate designer then, was tasked to finish the line. A fashion superstar was born that moment.
Her career flourished, and she began to dress celebrities such as Sigourney Weaver, Annete Bening, Uma Thurman, Susan Sarandon, Angelica Houston, and Diane Sawyer.
"Who would have thought a nice Jewish girl from the Five Towns on Long Island would take a journey from Versailles to Hollywood to Haiti?", said Karan in a statement to People. "I've done it all: married the love of my life, raised a daughter and a company, dressed a president, and became best friends with my childhood idol Barbara Streisand. From the very start, it's been an amazing ride."

Today, Karan is focused on building her brand Urban Zen. The brand supports Urban Zen Foundation; an organization that focuses on raising awareness to inspire change in healthcare, and preserving cultures.
