'Boruto Naruto Next Generation' Anime Series Set To Air In April
On March 23, at exactly 500 episodes, Konoha's well-loved ninja bade farewell to his legions of fans as Naruto went on marrying his childhood friend Hinata. While most fans are still deeply saddened now that the anime adaptation of "Naruto Shippuden" has finally bowed out, fans need not fret that long as both VIZ Media and Crunchyroll are bound to air "Boruto Naruto Next Generations."
It has been announced that the anime and manga entertainment firm - VIZ Media will be airing English dubbed episodes of "Boruto Naruto Next Generations." The announcement - that came right after "Naruto Shippuden's" final episode, also revealed that the upcoming anime's pilot broadcast will premiere on Hulu starting April 5 which is the same playdate in Japan, according to Comicbook. In addition, it is said that fresh episodes will come in weekly every Wednesdays.
In a statement obtained by the publication, VIZ Media's Charlene Ingram expressed their excitement in acquiring "Boruto Naruto Next Generations" adding that the Naruto fandom will be looking forward to the anime's first episode. Ingram went on saying that the stage is ready for new adventures featuring the next generation of ninjas hailing from the famed town of Konoha.
Aside from VIZ Media's Hulu, Crunchyroll also announced that they will also air episodes of "Boruto Naruto Next Generations. However, the publishing/streaming site did not disclose a specific date on when will they begin airing the show. The company just stated that they will begin airing anime spinoff sometime in spring.
"Boruto Naruto Next Generation" will feature Naruto's first born - Boruto (Bolt) as he enters the Ninja Academy to train just like his dad. The new protagonist will try to make a name for himself as he does not want to be deemed as just the Hokage's son.
