LG G6 Spearheads New Mobile Payment Services To Launch In South Korea
Another South Korean electronics company will launch mobile payment in the country. The LG Electronics, Inc. announced that this coming June 2017, they will launch new mobile payment services to try to keep with other smartphone top manufacturer Samsung and Apple.
LG Electronics has called the new services LG Pay and it would be available thru their latest LG G6 smartphone. With this new LG Pay, like other mobile services, using the technology known as Wireless Magnetic Communication, users would be able to make payments through existing credit card readers using the magnetic signal from the phone.
Today, Samsung and Apple is already making their mobile payment services available in more than ten countries across the Globe. According to CNET report, while Google's Android Pay is already available on LG smartphone devices, to use its own payment system would allow the latter to control its own cashless destiny and potentially tap into the market.
The South Korean company said that they still cannot confirm yet whether, aside for LG G6 handset, other smartphone models can be used and compatible with the LG Pay services and whether its payment service would expand to other markets.
Speaking of LG G6 smartphone, this company's latest flagship handset device was recently launched in South Korea on March 10, 2017. It was first announced in February 2017 and expected to release in other regions on April 7, 2017.

The main camera is 13mp and have a 3300mAh Li-Ion removable battery. This device's expected launching price is around $860 USD.
