Both "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Red Dead Redemption" are two of Rockstar Games' well-known game franchises and has raked in millions of dollars for the equally popular game maker. Fans of both game series have been wondering for the longest time on what if the worlds of these two games meet?

Such thought has been in the pipeline thanks to a team modding faithfuls of both games as it is being led by a developer that goes by the moniker Mr. Leisurewear. The team has been modding "Red Dead Redemption's" entire game map into "GTA V" for the desktop platform.

The mod is under development for about two years now and the developers were delighted to showcase their work to both of "GTA V" and "Red Dead Redemption's" respective fanbases. Moreover, it was also mentioned that more of the game mod's contents and screenshots will be released soon including its current low down.

As of late, the project dubbed "Red Dead Redemption V" is still in the works. Mr. Leisurewear's team is working round the clock in creating the mod's visuals, maps and even its day and night cycle aside from the aforementioned game map. The developers also stressed that they have lots of plans queued for their current project as they intend to mod more game elements from "Red Dead Redemption's" Xbox 360 version to be ported into "GTA V," according to Gamespot.

In line with this, the team is currently on the lookout for programmers who would assist them in doing some workarounds in "Red Dead Redemption's" file format. Scripters are also needed in making some tweaks in the game's other elements such as Dead Eye Targeting among others. A bit of a heads up, though, albeit the "Red Dead Redemption" mod is intended for PC, it is advised not to hook it up with the official "GTA V Online" or it will be taken down swiftly by Rockstar.

PC gamers are very much aware that Rockstar snubbed the desktop platform when "Red Dead Redemption" went out in 2010. It may well seem that these players will be meeting the same fate again as it has been announced early on that a game sequel is slated to be released this fall for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Eurogamer reported. In the meantime, watch a clip featuring "Red Dead Redemption" here:
