Bixby VS Siri: Which is the best Digital Assistant For Consumers To Depend On?
Samsung just announced Bixby the latest digital assistant that is completely different the rest of the artificially intelligent. The decision to launch the digital assistant just before launching Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus is a smart move by the company. It even shared some of the best features that completely distinguish it from previous digital assistants like Siri and Google AI.
The head of company's R&D department, InJong Rhee highlights few details about the latest digital assistant, Bixby. The company executive released a blog that describes what makes Bixby stand out from the rest of the artificial intelligence.
In an interview with The Verge, InJong Rhee revealed the specialties hold by Bixby. He stated that Bixby is not a fancy artificial intelligence which returns facts and information based on search engines. It is an artificial intelligence which is completely based on phone's internal UI. That means whatever a user can do, Bixby can also do.
The user can do touch input or voice commands, so can the Bixby. The latest digital assistant of Samsung is so smart that it can complete the action without full information from the user. The can complete the action with a touch input or voice commands. It will ask for help from the user only when it needed.
Bixby is based on three innovative "C" features which make it out of the box. These features are completeness, cognitive tolerance and Context awareness. These three features are designed not only to enhance the user experience but to provide maximum possible help to the users.
On the other hand, Siri and Google AI are allegedly offered search engine based information to the user input. They can play music, provide information which can be extracted from search engines. They are not allegedly designed to help the user with the internal UI of the system. Well, time will tell out the real result of Bixby.
