SISTAR's Yoon Bora First Movie Appearance In 'Sunkist Family,’ Other Group Members Are Also Busy With Their Individual Projects
A news was announced recently this week that the SISTAR's member Yoon Bora is getting her debut on the big screen. The 27-year-old singer will be playing a role in the upcoming movie entitled "Sunkissed Family."
The film, tentatively titled "Sunkissed Family," is a cheerful story about a family taht's happily driven by their life and all the silly things that happen to them. As reported by Soompi, SISTAR's Yoon Bora will play the role of a clever girl who have an admirer she didn't like.
The singer-actress Yoon Bora is confirmed for the role, however, reports claims that the Starship Entertainment, the SISTAR's management agency, release a statement saying their talent Bora is still reviewing the offer for the movie.
It is not the first time that Yoon Bora will act on screen. In 2014, she started her career as an actress in the SBS drama "Doctor Stranger," in which she works with the famous actors and actresses, like Lee Jong Suk.
Aside from Yoon Bora's debut in movie projects, other members of the girl group SISTAR are keeping busy with their individual projects. Hyolyn was just making her first solo stage performance at the Flash Factory in Manhattan, New York City.
Soyou confirmed her appearance on "Law of the Jungle" as its newest member. According to the source, she will be heading off to the New Zealand with Lee Kyung Kyu. And Dasom, she is currently preparing for her role in the SBS upcoming Drama entitled "Sister Is Alive," in which she will be working with Jang SeoHee, Oh Yoon Ah, Kim Joo Hyun and other more.
Their group SISTAR, which is under the Starship Entertainment, was formed in 2010. They released their first album titled 'So Cool" on August 2011, and so on, followed by more successful albums, including "Give It To Me." They have also been nominated and awarded in different music awards in the country.
