Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have been insistently linked to each other due to their irrefutable chemistry that was first witnessed in the "Descendants of the Sun" series. Now, new rumors are claiming that the Song-Song couple might have ended their supposed relationship after the "Running Man" actor was reportedly dating Park Bo Gum.
International Business Times Singapore has claimed that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have really dated in real life. However, according to the rumor website, everything has changed between the "Descendants of the Sun" stars after Park Bo Gum entered the scene.
Most fans can recall how Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum's romance at the 2016 KBS Drama awards had put them into banner headlines. In the said event, the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor had shed some tears while giving thanks to the leading man of Song Hye Kyo in "Descendants of the Sun."
"When I was working on 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,' I felt like I was very lacking. But I'm grateful to Song Joong Ki, who gave me advice every time," Park Bo Gum has said during his acceptance speech after winning one of the Male Top Excellence Awards. Song Joong Ki, who was beside Song Hye Kyo at that time, was spotted wiping his tears away for several times.
Since then, the Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum dating rumors have never died down. Adding fuel the fire are the times when the leading man of Song Hye Kyo traveled together with the "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" actor at the latter's fan meet events.
As a matter of fact, Korea Portal has previously reported that Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum have spent the Valentine's Day together, which was confirmed by a photo of the two posted on Instagram. There were even claims saying that the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor has caused a rift between the "Descendants of the Sun" actor and Song Hye Kyo, which could possibly be the reason behind the delay of the "DOTS" Season 2.
In her intertiew with W magazine, Song Hye Kyo has revealed that Song Joong Ki is just like a brother to her. "These days, I'm close to my label mates Yoo Ah In and Song Joong Ki, who I acted in drama with, but to them, wouldn't I just be an older sister who likes to treat them to food?" the "Descendants of the Sun" actress has revealed, sparking rumors that she had already split with Park Bo Gum's rumored partner.
Though these claims could possibly be true, neither Song Joong Ki nor Song Hye Kyo has confirmed anything as of yet; so, fans should take everything with a graon of salt until it has been proven true and correct.
