Fifth Harmony Lauren Jauregui Debunks Allegations of Insulting a Transgender Online

Fifth Harmony Lauren Jauregui denied the allegations that she insulted a transgender on social media. The singer has been at the center of media attention after the controversy.

It appears that the netizens took a couple of months to notice what Fifth Harmony Lauren Jauregui wrote on her Instagram. According to the latest report, the young musician shared the essence of being a woman. But, it turns out that she allegedly offended the LGBT community.

Notably, Fifth Harmony Lauren Jauregui reacted to Donald Trump after winning the presidential elections. She revealed on Billboard that she's a bisexual Cuban-American and she's proud of it. However, the transwomen might have taken her next statement out of context.

According to IB Times, she believes that being a woman is empowering. Moreover, Fifth Harmony Lauren Jauregui said further that she's proud of being a woman, and how her gender can give life and how "only the women" can feel such resiliency and strength in every aspect of life.

Perhaps, Fifth Harmony Lauren Jauregui was trying to convey a strong message as an encouragement without any bad intentions. But it seems that the LGBT community thinks that she is opting out the transwomen. As a result, the singer explained her side via Instagram:

"I'm sorry if the way I expressed my womanhood seemed to exclude trans women, I can assure you I am more than supportive and aware of your existence, but I understand how you'd feel excluded by my choices of description, so for all the women out there who identify as such and may not produce children or choose not to, you are in all your glory a beautiful part of our fortress of power and you are so so valid," Fifth Harmony Lauren Jauregui wrote.

Fans of Fifth Harmony Lauren Jauregui has been supportive of her since posting the message. Yet, some of the netizens might still need to wait for further explanation from the singer.
