HIGHLIGHT First Concept Photos For First Mini Album Revealed!

HIGHLIGHT, a new-formed K-pop group who was known as BEAST, released its first exciting group and individual concept photos for their first mini album, "Can't You Feel It?" The group returns after leaving Cube Entertainment over their trademark issue and soon joined Around Us Entertainment.

The concept photos, which were out on March 5 reveal the members who still look as handsome as ever. The South Korean quintet sport an all-white attire in a greyscale mode while the individual shots of HIGHLIGHT members feature each member in their most dashing poses.

They will release the very first mini album on March 13 while the full-length LP will be out on March 20. Soompi also reported that the latter date would be the official comeback of HIGHLIGHT in the entertainment industry.

HIGHLIGHT consists of members Yoon Doo-joon, Yong Jun-hyung, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon. Originally, Jang Hyun Seun was the sixth member who was part of BEAST. The first boyband became popular in 2009. In the past, BEAST launched two Korean full-length albums, seven Korean mini-albums, one Japanese full-length album, among various hit singles.

Around Us Entertainment told Korean website Naver that the name HIGHLIGHT symbolizes the potential to stand out above other South Korean bands. The label company also got the name via BEAST's first and last album release when they turned into a quintet.

"The name [Beast] is filled with memories and we worked hard to keep it, but this is goodbye. Now we will begin with Highlight!" lead vocalist Yoon wrote on his Instagram account. On the other hand, Billboard reported that other HIGHLIGHT members were also reminiscent of their roots but are positive about their new venture as Kpop group with a new name.

The fans around the world might be expecting HIGHLIGHT to be big this 2017. Let's see if they will top the charts when they release "Can't You Feel It?" in the coming days.
