Nokia 8 News & Update: New Handset, A No Show During MWC 2017; Flagship Phone To Have Its Own Launch

The highly anticipated MWC 2017 was a big disappointment for fans who were expecting to see the next flagship phone from Nokia. The event was quite a letdown although HMD only unveiled three affordable phones rather than their flagship device. It seems that the company has great plans for the device that they are probably going to have an event dedicated to launching the flagship phone otherwise known as the Nokia P1.

Given the hype for the Nokia 8 flagship phone, fans are becoming even more excited about the features and the specifics on the new flagship device. There is no official word on the actual release date for the flagship phone. However, it's highly likely that the phones are going to be launched in the second quarter of the year.

Meanwhile, one thing that many people are looking forward to when it comes to is the price of the flagship phone. Based on the latest reports, the Nokia 8 is not going to come cheap. It seems that the 128 GB model would cost approximately $779. Meanwhile, it seems that the 256 GB Nokia 8 is going to be sold for about $900. There are a lot of rumors on what the features of this flagship phone would be. As to the size of the phone, it seems that the company is planning on launching a 5.5-inch mobile device although there are also some rumors that the device could be a 5.2-inch model it's more likely to be the former one.

Despite the company's inability to launch the flagship phone during the conference, it offered a sneak peak on the models Nokia worked on including the iconic 3310 or at least a modern version of the device. As of the moment through Nokia fans are still waiting for news on the latest flagship. It would definitely be exciting to see what the Nokia 8 could do.
