Samsung and Apple have always been the closest and strongest competitors in the mobile industry. And while the brand that Steve Jobs established has been accusing the Korean brand of many years of copying its designs and ideas, it seems like things are now going otherwise.

The Wall Street Journal has reported recently about the things to expect from the upcoming iPhone -- and surprisingly, a lot of its new features are Samsung's key elements.

One of the expected iPhone 8 features is the curved screen, which is obviously a signature of Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Apart from the Apple, Galaxy S8 is also expected to sport a curved design. Also, several reports suggest that the upcoming Apple phone will use a new type of screen tech that is more commonly known as OLED.

As reviews and experts claim, OLED displays better color than the LCD screens that Apple have used since its first iPhone was released. Apart from that, it is also more efficient and this has been proven by Samsung for so many years.

iPhone is also speculated to sport a shocking feature which will ditch its Lightnin connector in exchange of USB-C -- the latest standard plug found in all Samsung and Android devices. This is nothing but a surprise since Apple is known for locking its users with its own Apple environment by only using its Apple-approved accessories.

Furthermore, iPhone 8 is expected to push through its wireless charging, something that Samsung has been proposing for a long time. Recently, Apple has announced about joining the Wireless Power Consortium -- the company known for working on wireless-charging standards.

iPhone 8 is expected to come out on the 10th anniversary of Apple, sometime in Sept. 2017. Along with these amazing features, the upcoming iPhone is assumed to feature a 4K display as well, making it as the company's flagship phone for 2017.
