Big Bang's Seungri Hints Collaboration With WINNER'S Song Min Ho
Big Bang's Seungri teased fans of a possible collaboration with WINNER's Song Min Ho. Fans can't help but speculate that a collaboration between the two YG artists might be in store especially when there's a photo of them together with songwriter Bekun Boom and YG producers Dee.P and Future Bounce's P.K. The rest of the four members of K-Pop's biggest hip hop boy band are confirmed to drop their solo albums this year after main rapper T.O.P. enlisted in the military early this month.
Seungri greeted V.I.P. fans Tuesday morning with a photo of himself at work in a recording studio. Though he was by himself in the photo, the 26-year-old singer-songwriter tagged WINNER's Song Min Ho and the three others, making the inevitable connection that they're all involved in the singer's latest project. Producer Dee.P is known to be behind the creation of tracks for YG artists such iKON, Big Bang and G-Dragon. He shared a photo on Instagram four days ago that captured the backs of at least four people watching by as a male singer sang inside a recording studio. He captioned the photo "Recording" and added hashtags #seungri, #futurebounce, # bekhumboom and #junwoo. Composer Lee Kyungjoon also posted a photo two weeks ago that started the speculations.
The YG artist first released his Korean EP "V.V.I.P." in 2011 followed by "Let's Talk About Love" two years later. Seungri revealed that though each of the members launched solo careers starting 2008 and eventually released individual albums, they were only confined to the limits set as members of a band. "We have a rule that whoever releases a solo album, one must not break the boundaries of Big Bang," he said in an interview in 2013, as reported by bigbangupdates. He added that he really wanted to impress the older members, whom he described as "harsh" though supportive, and didn't want to embarrass himself with his solo album. "It was more difficult to gain recognition from the members than from the public," he shared.
