Official details about the upcoming "The Originals" Season 4 remain scarce until now, which pushed fans to create their own theories on the things that could happen in the upcoming series. Now, new spoilers suggest that the upcoming fourth installment is going to introduce new characters.

TV Line confirmed that "The Originals" Season 4 is going to feature more new characters that would give fans more reasons to watch the vampire-themed show. According to the spoiler news website, Neil Jackson has divulged during the San Diego Comic-Con that he will be joining the upcoming fourth installment of The CW show.

Reports have it that Neil Jackson will play the role of a new vampire named Alistair, who is said to be the newest villain in the upcoming "The Originals" Season 4. Sources have claimed that Alistair is going to have more scenes with Klaus in the imminent fourth installment.

"Little is known as about Jackson's character at the moment, save for him being a vampire named Alistair who will interact with Klaus," TV Line reported of Neil Jackson's addition in "The Originals" Season 4. "Jackson's additional TV credits include roles on Blindspot, Person of Interest and Make It or Break It," the entertainment news site added on.

There are also claims saying that Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are going to be added in the already-stellar cast of "The Originals" Season 4. As a matter of fact, Korea Portal previously reported that the main lead cast of "The Vampire Diaries" series are very likely to join the spinoff since it is currently on its final season.

Speculations have it that the characters of Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are totally appearing in "The Originals" Season 4 since the original story revolves around them, GamenGuide claimed. Though these reports could possibly be true, neither of the three stars has confirmed anything as of yet.
