'The Originals' Season 4 Trailer, Spoilers: Hayley's Five Year Journey, Hope In The Spotlight

The latest trailer for "The Originals" is making fans more excited about "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff. The wait is almost over since it would be less than a month before the TVD comes to an end and "The Originals" will take over its time slot.

Fans are getting even more excited given the events that are taking place in "The Vampire Diaries" since it could affect the episodes in the spinoff when it starts to air the fourth season. The end of "The Originals" season 3 was not that pretty. Klaus Mikaelson is in his personal hell and Hayley needed to take care of their daughter.

In "The Originals" season 4, it seems that Hope will be the main focus. If the trailer is any indication, it seems that Klaus' daughter will be very special.

"She definitely shares her mother's street smarts but may or may not also display some of her father's temper and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect her family."

The key art poster that shows the Mikaelson child Hope shows a bunch of dead ravens too which brings rise to speculations on Hope's true nature. Prior spoilers already revealed that the story will pick up five years from the events of "The Originals" season 3 finale.

Hayley will be on a quest to find the cure to free all the Mikaelsons from their ailments. When Klaus wakes up from his coma, the other Mikaelsons would also wake up. As of the moment, though, Hayley needs to be strong for herself and for her child.

The first look at "The Originals" shows no sign of the Mikaelsons yet but, of course, the ancient vampire family is going to make a comeback how they do it remains to be unknown. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Alaric from "The Vampire Diaries" will make an appearance in "The Originals" season 4.

"The Originals" season 4 premiere is set to launch on March 17 at 8/7c on the CW.
