OK! reported that "Narcos" Season 3 is going to be released in August or September 2017. According to the news outlet, the life of Cali Cartel is going to be the focus in the upcoming third installment of the popular crime series.

Reports have it that "Narcos" Season 3 is going to feature the death of Pablo Escobar, which is the main reason why the management is shifting the focus from the infamous Colombian drug lord to the Cali Cartel. For starters, Cali Cartel is also a drug cartel composed of Jose Santacruz Londonio, who is also known as "Chepe" and brothers Gilberto and Miguel Rodriguez Orejuela.

According to reports, the Cali Cartel was formed after Helmer Herrera, who is also known as "Pacho," broke away from Pablo Escobar to join the Jose Santacruz Londonio and Gilberto and Miguel Rodriguez Orejuela. In other words, avid followers of the popular series can expect more new faces in the upcoming "Narcos" Season 3.

Meanwhile, We Got Discovered has claimed that Boyd Holbrooks will not be reprising his role as Steve Murphy in the imminent "Narcos" Season 3 anymore. The news outlet stated that the actor is currently promoting the "Logan" movie, leaving him no enough time to film for the upcoming third installment.

Pedro Pascal and Miguel Angel Silvestre, however, have already confirmed their comeback in "Narcos" Season 3. The stars of the popular Netflix series has even divulged that they are now filming for the upcoming third installment.
