Camila Cabello and Fifth Harmony shocked the public in December after announcing that she's out of the group. The sudden announcement left speculations about a long-time feud between Cabello and the members.

The official Twitter account of Fifth Harmony released a statement explaining that Cabello decided to leave the all-female band. On the other hand, Cabello insisted that she had no knowledge of the decision but will continue her league as a solo artist since she has been unhappy about her career in the group.

The rumors about her exit rose to the Internet months before, after she collaborated with Shawn Mendes for the song "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Albeit, she debunked the allegations about calculating her exit.

But the gossips did not stop there. Camila Cabello has done another duet, this time with Machine Gun Kelly for the song "Bad Things." Then, the quite expected happened.

What Could Be the Reason of Her Departure?

For the first time after releasing a written statement, the now-solo artist gives an interview about what happened. According to Pop Crush, she was fully dedicated to the band, which she stayed for nearly half a decade.

"I'm so proud of everything that we achieved together and every moment that we had together. But just like any artist, I just felt like it was time to follow my own artistic vision and so I just followed my heart and here I am," Camila Cabello continued.

Later on, she focused more on revealing her plans about her solo stint. "I'm so excited about just making music and making the visuals and just creating that world," she added further.

On the other hand, Fifth Harmony members Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane-Hansen, Lauren Jauregui, and Ally Brooke are yet to give their opinion about Camila Cabello leaving the quintet.
