Several techies around the world are now waiting for the upcoming release of the iMac 2017. Now, rumors about its impressive specs and features have been spreading like wildfire online.

MacWorld reported that the imminent iMac 2017 will soon be announced at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2017. However, conflicting reports suggest that Apple might not be able to release the said device on time as it is currently working on its design.

Reports have it that iMac 2017 is going to feature a 4.2GHz Intel Core i7-7700 Kaby Lake chipset. According to sources, the said chip is expected to make processes faster than ever.

Moreover, it has been claimed that the 4.2GHz Intel Core i7-7700 Kaby Lake chipset is enough to let iMac 2017 users have VR experience. The chip, additionally, is expected to be at par with 4.8GHz.

However, MacWorld has also opened the possibility that iMac 2017 might feature AMD processors. The news outlet has speculated that the new AMD Zen processor could possibly be a good addition to the model. Some Apple fans have also requested for the Cupertino-based company to have flash storage.

For starters, the flash storage is now present in the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro lines. It actually aids these devices to perform better than other identified iMacs.

Meanwhile, there are also speculations saying that iMac 2017 could possibly replace the MacBook Pro line. Though these reports could possibly be true, it should be noted that Apple has not yet released any official statement until now. So, fans should take these things lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
