Apple Watch 3 Release Date, News & Update

The Apple Watch, like all other Apple devices, including the revolutionary iPhone and iPad, has been a popular hit in the public's eye. The Apple watch is not an ordinary watch and does so much more than to just show the time to its users. However, when the battery is running dry, there is little choice left for users to preserve the watch's battery to last it long enough until it's in charge again.

The Apple Watch, like iOS, has a battery-saving mode. This mode allows the user to use the Apple Watch but drastically reducing the consumption of its battery. It is ideal if the user is in the situation of needing to continue using the Apple Watch but cannot recharge it.

The battery saving mode of the Apple watch is somewhat different from that of iOS. Unlike the iPhone and iPad, the Apple watch will stop almost all its functions except to show time. In this mode, the Apple Watch stops communicating with the iPhone and the user will not be able to access any function other than seeing the time.

If the watch is at a charge level below 10% it will automatically alert the user, asking them to activate the watch's battery saving mode. But if the user wants to activate the battery saving mode manually, here are some steps to follow through for convenience.

Swipe finger up on the watch to open the control center. After that, the user must follow the following steps:

  1. Press the battery percentage
  2. Press Save battery and then press Continue

Now the user's Apple Watch is in Battery saving mode, and the only thing it will be showing is the time when the user presses the side button. If the user wants to disable the battery saving mode, they must press the side button and keep it pressed until the Apple Watch shows the Apple logo. This will automatically re-trigger the watch to revert back to its original normal operative mode.
