'Infinity Challenge' released a statement to officially apologize for illegal driving.

On the 21st episode of the TV program, members were shown riding in a van that ran in the opposite direction of a one-way street. This particular scene captured the attention of a lot of viewers not just because it's illegal but also because it is very dangerous.

According to the statement released by the production, they did not realize that they were actually going the wrong way.

"On the January 21st's episode of 'Infinity Challenge' during the 'Your Name' episodes, a scene where the car that the members were in drove in the opposite direction in a one-way street was broadcast. After checking the original footage, we checked that the car with the members entered the street in the blue direction as in the map below from the Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park, and then left the road in the opposite direction of the one-way road as marked by the red arrow. Only the car with the members went up to the upper parking lot of the Imjingak and all the other cars stayed in the lower parking lot, so the staff did not realize that the car with the members in it had driven in the opposite direction," said the show.

However, the staff of the show also admitted that it is entirely their fault as they failed to carefully check the taping site. They said sorry for their carelessness and promised to be more careful next time.

"The concept of the episode was to visit places on whim. The driver must have made a mistake and driven in the opposite direction because he was not used to the area. However, the staff believe that it is our fault for not diligently checking what was happening on site, so we are deeply reflecting. We apologize for troubling the viewers and promise to be more careful in the future," they added.
