Kate Middleton, Prince William To Replace Queen Elizabeth After Retirement, Report Suggests; Duchess, Camilla Parker-Bowles ‘Unfit’ To Become Queen
Kate Middleton and Prince William have been surrounded with countless malicious rumors since they started going out as a couple. Now, new reports are claiming that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might dethrone Queen Elizabeth.
International Business Times Singapore reported that Kate Middleton and Prince William may inherit the throne once Queen Elizabeth decides to step down. The rumor website suggests that Her Majesty is going to pass the power to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge instead of handing it to Prince Charles.
"It's a dramatic break from tradition for the queen to do this, and no one was more surprised than William and Kate," IBT SG cited an insider saying. "The queen informed them right after they came back from spending the holidays with Kate's family...They both started crying tears of joy."
The same report claimed that the coronation of Prince William and Kate Middleton will be happening in Summer 2017. It can be recalled that followers of Queen Elizabeth got so worried because of her health issues.
Rumors about Queen Elizabeth giving up the throne have started to spread like wildfire. Though the reports could hold some truths, the palace did not confirm any of the rumors until now. Neither Kate Middleton nor Prince William has commented on the claims until now.
Meanwhile, Poor Primadonna highlighted that only Princess Charlotte can inherit the throne of Queen Elizabeth. According to the news outlet, Kate Middleton cannot claim the throne even if Prince William becomes the king of the British monarchy since she does not have royal blood.
So, if Queen Elizabeth retires, only Prince William's daughter, Princess Charlotte, can become the next queen after Prince George decides to abdicate or die. This also means that Camilla Parker-Bowles, just like Kate Middleton, is not qualified to accede to the throne despite being Prince Charles' wife.
