Kate Middleton has been plagued with various nasty rumors since she started dating Prince William. Now, new reports are claiming that the mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte is not fit to become the next queen because of her poor etiquette.
Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Kate Middleton is refusing to shake hands with other people during royal activities. According to the news outlet, the wife of Prince William now being slammed for having such poor etiquette.
The public has noticed that Kate Middleton usually holds a purse whenever she goes out the palace to attend parties, events, and charity works. While some think the small bag contains the Duchess' personal essentials, there are also a few who thinks the wife of Prince William is using it to avoid touching the hands of other people.
According to William Hanson, there is a valid reason Kate Middleton is rarely seen extending her hands to other people. "It is a protocol that you do not extend your hand to any member of the royal family unless their hand extends first," the etiquette expert said to Daily Mail.
"With more experience, The Duchess of Cambridge will soon realize that she needn't be too nice, extend and shake hands with everyone. A courteous smile at those whom she does not have time to shake hands will suffice," Hanson added on. To make it simpler: just because Kate Middleton does not extend her hands to the public, it does not mean she is not nice. There is a code of behavior to be followed and the wife of Prince William sure knows how to abide by the rules.
Meanwhile, International Business Times has made it clear that Kate Middleton will never inherit the throne should Queen Elizabeth step down from her reign. According to reports, the wife of Prince William will only be holding the ceremonial title of the queen but only Prince Charlotte can take both the crown and the throne.
