2NE1 To Release One Last Track ‘Good Bye’

If it's any consolation to 'Blackjacks' (as 2NE1 fans call themselves), the group is set to release one last track. The track, which is entitled 'Good Bye' is 2NE1's way of saying farewell to the fans who followed, supported, and loved them all throughout their career. The group, after conquering the K-pop world for the past 7 years, had recently announced its disbandment.

As confirmed by their label, YG Entertainment, Thursday, January 5, 2NE1 is currently working on their final track. 

"As 2NE1 were not able to say a final goodbye to fans due to their sudden disbandment, they plan to send a song," confirmed the label.

According to the label, Park Bom, Dara, and CL weren't only finished recording 'Good Bye' but they were also done filming for its music video. It only means that the track is almost ready to be released soon.

It was previously announced that 2NE1 is getting ready for their comeback but to the fans' surprise, they have announced their disbandment instead. A lot of fans were disheartened when news about 2NE1's sudden disbandment surfaced the net.

To console the grieving fans, the group and their management decided to release one final track as their way of saying 'Good Bye' to fans who never get tired of supporting them since Day 1. 'Good Bye' is set to be released this coming January 21.

2NE1 had their debut on 2009. The fourth and the youngest member, Minzy, left the group mid-2016, leaving Park Bom, Dara, and CL on their own. With one member leaving the group didn't do 2NE1 any good as they eventually get disbanded 7 months later.

Although sad because of 2NE1's disbandment, fans are somehow glad that the group is releasing one last song before they finally bid goodbye to fans. Having something to look forward to somehow makes the disbandment a little bearable.
