2016 Summer TCA Tour - Day 9

"Designated Survivor" Season 1 had successfully gotten the viewers' attention on its first run with its rating hitting the 10 million figure on its premiere. Starring Kiefer Sutherland as Tom Kirkman, the US President, the show ended with a 7 million viewership. Soon on March 8, 2017, it will be coming back for the second half with 12 more episodes left for the season.

In a report by TVLIne, the showing of episode 10 titled "The Oath" of "Designated Survivor" Season 1 was a sure hit. The storyline revolves around the daring adventures of Hannah Wells (Maggie Q) as she tried to uncover the author of the Capitol bombing. Meanwhile, the POTUS Kirkman and Emily Rhodes (Italia Ricci) resolves to reveal the identity of the traitor in the White House.

A deep look at the inside of "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Hannah Wells after a dangerous ordeal with her assailant went back to the Capitol Building. Then she found out that a gunman was positioned on the window. Hannah immediately fired at the window distracting the gun man's aim. Hannah could not decipher who is the gun man's target, is it aimed at Kirkman or anyone else.

According to Spoilertv, Part 2 of "Designated Survivor" Season 1 episode 11 is all set for its comeback with a "bang" three months from now. With the rating high, it could have been a good move to continue with the showing. Taking a lull step for that length of time might endanger the show's following by the fans.

However, one sure thing is happening for "Designated Survivor" Season 1. It will start airing on March 8, 2017, at 10 on Wednesday nights at the ABC network. It is a big hit American drama that is drawing viewers for its renewal for another season.
