Millions of fans around the world are now excited for the release of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2017. Now, new reports have it that the imminent Apple laptop is going to be cheaper than its predecessors despite its improved RAM.

Mac World has claimed that MacBook Pro 2017 is going to have a 32GB of RAM. The news outlet has even cited a claim of KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo saying that the Cupertino-based company is waiting for the Cannonlake processors.

Kuo added that MacBook Pro 2017 could possibly become a more powerful laptop should Intel's Cannonlake processors come on time - possibly on the second half of the year. However, if everything will fail, Apple will opt to retain the 16GB RAM and upgrade it with the Coffee Lake processor.

Though Apple has not confirmed the addition of 32GB of RAM yet, senior vice president of marketing Phil Schiller has already said that larger processor will not be battery-efficient for a laptop as it will require more power. In other words, having a 16GB of RAM is just enough to make your laptop's battery last longer.

As for its price, MacBook Pro 2017 is expected to be more affordable than the previous models. "That wouldn't be a surprising move, given that the Touch Bar-equipped Pro will be a year old next fall," Mac World reported. "Potential upgraders who are sitting out this round to see how the Touch Bar performs and to evaluate the USB-C market might make the leap once the new Pros come down from their $1,799 starting price."

Meanwhile, other rumors suggest MacBook Pro 2017 will be available in jet black color. Just like the recently-launched iPhone 7, the upcoming Apple laptop is expected to offer a new variant for consumers to choose from. It also rumored to have an Apple Pen compatibility.

It should be noted that these MacBook Pro 2017 details and reports remain unconfirmed as of yet. So, tech geeks are recommended to take everything with a grain of salt until it has been proven true and correct.
