‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3: March 2017 Release Confirmed But Interdimensional Cable 3 Might Not Happen; Dan Harmon Promises More Exciting Episodes
Millions of fans were disappointed when Adult Swim failed to release "Rick and Morty" Season 3 before 2016 ended. Now, new reports are claiming that the upcoming third installment might have an early 2017 premiere instead.
Den of Geek has quoted Mr. Poopybutthole saying that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is not happening until March 2017. Though some episodes of the third installment were already completed in September 2016 and were scheduled to premiere in December 2016, everything did not happen as planned.
Despite this, fans can expect that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is going to be more fun and exciting that the previous two seasons. "I don't think anybody wants to do a third season that simply spends a whole bunch of episodes dealing with a situation that we created at the end of the second season," Dan Harmon has revealed in an exclusive interview with Den of Geek. "So I think that's a non-spoiler way of saying things should be okay pretty quickly."
Meanwhile, Adult Swim has recently released a teaser video of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. In the video, Morty was seen standing by his locker listening to what Jessica and her friends are saying but Rick pulled him away when he tried joining the clique's conversation.
Followers of the popular series should also expect Morty exhausting all efforts in getting his love interest to notice him. Moreover, the two lead characters are expected to be involved in intergalactic battles in "Rick and Morty" Season 3.
Polygon predicted that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is going to be worthy of the wait with all its exciting plots and animations. However, Justin Roiland has previously revealed at 2016 Comic-Con that they are not sure whether or not to do the Interdimensional Cable 3.
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 will have a total of 14 episodes. It is confirmed to air in March 2017.
