Big Bang Apologized for Delayed Comeback
In a recent interview, Big Bang apologized to fans for failing to keep their promise. Their much-awaited comeback which was announced to happen on December 12 was reported to be delayed. Because of that, the boys said sorry to the waiting fans.
"I feel sorry because I feel like we never keep promises on time. When it comes to time, I don't think we're the people who move exactly according to plan," T.O.P apologized to the fans in the said interview.
G-Dragon also said his apology to fans. "Changing words [about our comeback] is something to be sorry about. There are things that need to be done according to plan, and I'm thankful for those who work for us in places we can't see them," he said.
G-Dragon also tried to explain the cause of the delay. According to the idol, they wanted everything to be perfect up to the littlest details that it somehow caused delay.
"We are the ones who receive the criticism and compliments so we try to confirm every little picture and video, and being that picky led to delay and cancellations despite our plans. It also applies to this project that took us a year. I think this is one of our biggest problems," he said.
There's some rumor, though, that the real cause of the delay is due to Big Bang and YG Entertainment's decision to give way to the label's new female idol group BLACKPINK. They are delaying the release of Big Bang's much-awaited comeback to prevent overshadowing the new girl group.
With 2NE1 recently disbanded, the label is said to be working so hard to promote YG's new girl group.
Meanwhile, Big Bang's newest tracks "FXXK IT" and "Last Dance" are sweeping charts. It only shows how excited the fans are for their much-awaited comeback.
