Rain is Back!
So it is confirmed. Rain will be having his comeback very, very soon. Fans are very thrilled to know that after three years, the idol is finally making a comeback.
"He's currently in preparation with the goal for a comeback in January," confirmed a representative of his label.
There are also some reports that he is to appear in a popular JTBC variety show, 'A Hyung I Know', sometime next month.
His latest album, 'Rain Effect', was released on 2014. The said album was released after he was discharged from his compulsory military service.
He got himself enlisted in the military on October 2011. He reported at the 306th Army draft camp in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do province but was later transferred to Defense Media Agency of the Ministry of National Defense in Yongsan-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. He was appointed Honorary Ambassador of Military.
The idol, however, got into trouble when it was found out that he had been secretly dating actress Kim Tae Hee while still in the service. He faced military punishment for breaking the country's strict military service rules.
He was discharged from the service on July 10, 2013, and later released his 9th album, 'Rain Effect', one year after.
The idol had done three dramas after military discharge. These are 'My Lovely Girl' (2014), 'Diamond Lover' (2015), and 'Please Come Back, Mister' (2016). It was reported that he'll be doing a Chinese drama 'Endless August' anytime soon.
Rain had also done two films after discharge and these are 'The Prince' (2014), an American film, and 'For Love or Money' (2015), a Chinese film.
The idol had been so extremely busy doing dramas and films right after his military discharge. And now after three years, fans are thrilled to know that he is finally making a comeback in the music scene. Everybody surely misses seeing him on stage!
