“The Winds of Winter” Release Date 2016 Confirmed? Publication Altered George R.R. Martin's Work?
George R.R. Martin has reportedly confirmed that "The Winds of Winter" will be released early in 2016. The sixth installment of Matin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire' was one of the most awaited novels after the fifth masterpiece 'A Dance with Dragons' hit the market in 2011.
This news was brought out when Piesn Lodu I Ognia, a Polish Website, reported that Zysk publishing house requested Michal Jakuszewski to translate "The Winds of Winter". The said publishing company told Michal to "save his time by the end of the year to translate the book," cited by Independent.
"Although the translator seemed to be a bit skeptical about this news, it is undoubtedly a glimmer of hope for many of us," the website added.
The source cited above also wrote that fans can expect the novel's early release date in 2016 as publishers were already preparing for the book to be translated in different languages which only means, George R.R. Martin completed the latest installment.
Moreso, Martin has reportedly talked about "The Winds of Winter." According to the site, the author revealed that it will clear up a few storylines from the previous book, titled "A Dance with Dragons." He allegedly admitted that there were only a few stories and for him to make it up, he wrote two big battles in the upcoming book. The battle in the ice and the battle at Meereen. He also spilled that the series covers seven books.
Venture Capital Post reported that the 67-year-old author said that the publication added a twist to his original story. According to the report, a minor character will make the readers mad. Thus, this story curve will not be added in the show as this particular character has "made a couple of decisions that will preclude it."
iDigitalTimes also reported that the production team of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 said that they're basing the upcoming season as they already have access to sixth installment manuscript, "The Winds of Winter." Furthermore, it is being said that George R.R. Martin is helping the creators of the TV series to find the right words.
Meanwhile, George R.R. Martin allegedly hopes that his book will be released on time, which avid supporters are expecting to be launched in early 2016.
