TWICE Is Music Bank Queen of 2016, “TT” Continues to Dominate
TWICE continues to secure their road to stardom as the group once again dominates in KBS "Music Bank." The idol group's popular song "TT" continues its winning streak for the 5th time, reigning for the whole month of November and takes 1st place again on Dec. 2.
On the recent episode of "Music Bank," B1A4 came back with "A Lie" and LABOUM returned with "Winter Story." One of the most highly anticipated performances, however, is by Girl's Generation Hyoyeon. Hyoyeon has recently made her solo debut, and she made an appearance at "Music Bank" to perform her solo "Mystery."

Fighting for the first place is TWICE versus UP10TION, with "TT" against "White Night." In the end, JYP's girl group won again and took the trophy with "TT."
Notably, "TT's" win on Dec. 2 marks the 10th time the idol group has won in "Music Bank." The group previously reigned on the show during the month of May with their sensational single "Cheer Up." "Cheer Up" gave TWICE five wins to which "TT" has now achieved. Fans are looking forward whether "TT" will soon surpass "Cheer Up" on the records, as many people are currently enchanted by the song.
TWICE is a South Korea-based girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 reality show "Sixteen." The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Having nine members, the group is being likened and even expected to be the new Girl's Generation in terms of popularity and status.
The group debuted on October 20, 2015, with the mini-album "The Story Begins." JYP Entertainment eagerly focuses on the promotion of the group these days, with JYP himself expecting the group to rise or even surpass previous girl groups Miss A and Wonder Girls.
