Pokemon Go's $34.99 Add-On
Pokemon Go Plus

Playing the game is going to be in a whole new level. The Pokemon Go Plus is a small device that lets you enjoy the game while you're out and about and you aren't on your phone. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth low energy and alerts (using LED and vibration) when there are appearances of Pokémon is close to where you are. You can clip it to your lapel or even wear it as a bracelet to keep you connected.

What's fun about this standalone peripheral is that it allows you to enjoy the game without having your eyes glued on your phone most of the time.

When you're near or approaching a PokeStop, it will vibrate and light up blue while your screen is off. All you need to do is press the button on the center of the Plus to gather the items. You will then see a field of colors to confirm that you have collected the goods.

In order for you to see what you've found, you just need to open up your trainer journal. There will also be pop-up notifications that will also keep you in the loop with the happenings in the game.

The Plus can also help you catch Pokémon. Instead of using your phone to catch, the Plus will light up. However, there are two kinds of light. If it flashes green, it's a Pokémon you've caught before where you need to press a button on the device. If it's yellow, it's a new one letting you open the app.

It's compatible with the iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, SE, 6, 6s, 6 Plus, 6s Plus, 7 and 7 Plus with Ver. 8-10 installed and Android devices that have 2 GB RAM or more with Android Ver. 4.4-6.0 installed. Bluetooth Smart is required.

The Pokémon Go Plus release date already passed. It started selling in September 16 and is available to purchase online in GameStop and Amazon as well as in stock at Nintendo New York for only $34.99. Hurry and get your hands on this gadget now.
