JYP Entertainment Confirms Wonder Girls' Yenny and 2AM's Jinwoon are Dating

On September 20, an exclusive report by Sports DongA stated that Wonder Girls' Yenny and 2AM's Jinwoon have been in a relationship for the past 2 years. JYP Entertainment, the label of Wonder Girls and Yenny, and former agency of Jinwoon, confirmed that the two idols are indeed a couple.

The announcement came after JYP stated that they will confirm the issue first with the two involved celebrities. On September 21, the entertainment agency finally issued its statement regarding the dating rumor of Yenny and Jinwoon.

Yenny and Jinwoon have built up a special relationship by being under the same company and by sharing their musical interests.

The two, who shared a common denominator called music, went from friends to lovers toward the beginning of 2014 and continue to maintain their relationship even after Jinwoon signed with Mystic Entertainment.

As what the agency stated, the couple's similar preference in music is a great factor in their chemistry. Allkpop reported that when Yenny first started out composing, she would sing her demos and Jinwoon would play the guitar.

After the confirmation of their relationship, eagle-eyed netizens quickly posted some "hints" of the idols' relationship. In 2014, fans posted on an online community that the two were spotted together with matching couple rings, while others said that they have seen Jinwoon and Yenny together on dates several times.

Yenny also attended Jinwoon's brother's wedding and sang for the newlyweds. At that time, it has not become an issue because it was taken as an act of kindness toward her then-labelmate, Jinwoon.
