BLACKPINK to return with two new songs next month!

Kpop rookies BLACKPINK promises to return on October with two new songs.

The group's agency YG Entertainment announced on Sept. 15 that Jennie Kim, Park Chae-young, Lalisa Manoban and Kim Ji-soo just finished filming a new music video and are scheduled to shoot another one for their comeback songs on October.

A source from the agency teased that there will be a minimum of two new songs to be released on the Chuseok holiday period. "For their comeback, there will be a minimum of two new tracks or there could be more," Soompi quoted.

BLACKPINK debuted in August with hit songs "Whistle" and "Boombayah." The band promised to release eight tracks as part of their debut until the end of the year, SBS reported.

The announcement of the creation of YG's new girl group was revealed in 2012 and only in June 2016 when official members were named. The Kpop stars do not just represent South Korea as the three members were hailed from Australia, New Zealand and Thailand.

The agency explained that the name of the group is a representation of talent and beauty.

In just a short period, the four-member band already made waves and topped the Billboard World Digital Songs Chart and other domestic charts.

Early this month, The Rolling Stones listed the band as one of the "10 New Artists You Need to Know." The magazine described the YG artist as a "perfect marriage of Kpop and A-town trap" with their special knack for singing and dancing.

The girls revealed that their music is influenced by power vocalist Ariana Grande and talented rapper Nicki Minaj. They guaranteed flexibility by saying that they are prepared to do any music and dance style.

Fans to anticipate the exact date and details about BLACKPINK's new tracks and music video.
