Apple to release improved Apple Watch 2.

Apple Watch 2 is ready to play well in the market with better features and longer battery life.

Information leakage claims that Apple Watch 2 will have 334 mAh which is far better than its original version with 246 mAh, Yahoo Tech reported.

Apple will conduct its annual iPhone announcement this week. Along with this, details about Apple Watch 2 are expected by fans. Prior to the event, the Verge already cited several leaks about the improved watch. According to the report, Apple Watch 2 may possibly carry a GPS chip as based on the Youtube video posted by Byte, an electronic shop. The video includes a comparison of battery sizes of the new and old model. It was also emphasized that the larger battery is necessary to support the GPS feature.

In contrary, the report cited Bloomberg's news stating that Apple may not add cellular connectivity to the new model because it will compromise the unit's battery.

Apple Watch 2 is also expected to have a fresh look with its Force Touch seal and thinner display. It is rumored to have a TSMC 16nm processor, waterproofing and a barometer that measures atmospheric pressure. With these rumored features, it is possible that this model will be marketed as a sports watch targeting individuals into running, hiking and swimming.

It was first introduced to the public during an Apple special occasion where iPhone 6 was also launched by Tim Cook, Apple CEO.

Investor Ming-Chi Kuo assumes that the release of the new Apple watch model will be on the second half of this year. It is also possible that it will debut in the market with iPhone 7 on the same date, September 7. Kuo added that he is not expecting the watch to offer 4G connectivity until 2017.

Apple Watch was first released in 2015.
