SHINee, Wonder Girls, Sistar, 2 PM and More to Perform on 2016 Korea Sale FESTA Kpop Concert

The "2016 Korea Sale FESTA" is set with an exciting Hallyu concert which includes the performance of SHINee, Wonder Girls, Sistar, 2 PM, INFINITE, B.A.P., VIXX, Girl's Day, Red Velvet, AOA, Ailee, G-Friend, BTOB, MAMAMOO, Dal Shabet, Lovelyz, GOT7, SONAMOO, Gugudan and IOl, All Kpop reported.

The opening concert for the festival will be broadcasted in more than 120 countries with the help of KBS Music Bank. Everyone is invited to watch Kpop stars in this free event to happen in Yeongdong Daero on Sept. 30 to Oct. 3.

The timetable of performances will be posted on the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's official website in mid-September.

South Korea's largest shopping festival will have three themes for this year including two bargain sales programs for local and international shoppers and the Hallyu festival which highlights the country's culture. Hallyu refers to the Korean pop culture which is now considered a phenomenon not only across the nation but also worldwide. The 33 days event aims to increase the domestic consumption of locals and attract foreign shoppers.

Apart from the concert during the commencement of the festival, events with different themes including K-beauty, K-brand, K-food, K-fashion, K-tour and K-culture are prepared for participants. Bargains, cosmetic shows, food sampling stalls and traditional performances will be showcased.

This big event will be participated by provincial governments as well as retailers and manufacturers of cosmetics, appliances, food and clothing products. To draw in tourists to the country, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be co-hosts of the festival, KBS World reported.

This tourism and trade expo that will run from Sept. 29 to Oct. 31 is organized by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Visit Korea Committee and Korea Creative Content Agency.

Last year's Korea Black Friday was rebranded as 2016 Korea Sale FESTA . This event has helped South Korea increase its domestic demand making the country the fourth biggest economy in Asia.
