ZE:A’s Kwanghee Reveals G-Dragon’s Encouraging Texts on ‘Infinite Challenge’
On the latest episode of the TV show 'Infinite Challenge," youngest cast member Kwanghee revealed an encouraging text message sent by no other than BIGBANG's leader, G-Dragon.
G-Dragon continued to express his support for ZE:A member Kwanghee despite some criticisms from netizens on the latter's poor performance on the said TV Show.
Koreaboo reported that on the August 27th episode of 'Infinite Challenge,' a special "behind the scenes" segment of the upcoming "Moohan Company" skit was shown. The skit is scheduled to air for two weeks on September 3rd and 10th, and is considered as the show's most famous segment that only comes around every few years.
The upcoming "Moohan Company" skit will be aired as a movie format and will have famous Korean celebrities as guests. Aside from G-Dragon, the other guests include veteran actress Kim Hye Soo, actor Lee Jae Hoon, and veteran Japanese actor Kunimura Jun.
In the preview episode, Kwanghee was shown on set with his friend-Dragon. He then went on to tell a story that earlier this year, in June to be specific, he was having a difficult time adjusting to his role and position on 'Infinite Challenge' because of criticisms from the netizens saying that he was not funny or entertaining enough for the show. G-Dragon then contacted him via a surprise text message, and he expressed how touched he was by G-Dragon's words and gesture.
He showed the actual conversation between them, which he saved causing the BIGBANG leader to burst into laughter.
Koreaboo translated the conversation between the two idols:
G-Dragon: "Hey Kwanghee, hope you've been doing well. I've been watching the show and enjoy seeing you on it. You've been having a lot of thoughts lately, right? You're doing really well so stand up straight and dignified. Confidently keep going what you've been doing because you are a really funny guy. Don't feel burdened about what others say and keep fighting. I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch with you very often due to such busy schedules, but I'm always rooting for you."
Kwanghee: "Who is this?"
G-Dragon: "Ah, right, I forgot. My number changed, it's me Jiyong."
Kwanghee" "Oh my..."
G-Dragon: (Inserts emoticon)
Kwanghee: "Thanks, Jiyong."
G-Dragon: "No problem. Cheer up, my friend."
The two idols previously formed the group Hwangtaeji with BIGBANG member Taeyang for the 2015 Infinite Challenge Music Festival. The trio released the collaborative song "Mapsosa."
