Song Joong-ki Welcomed By Thousands in Thailand at Thunder Dome

30-year-old Song Joong-ki was welcomed by about 4,000 fans at the Thunder Dome in Thailand on Monday. The "Descendants of the Sun" star is rising quickly as an international superstar. 

Song Joong-ki visited Thailand for the first time in four years. His arrival to Bangkok "jammed" the airport. 

"When Song landed in Thailand, the local media said his fans literally jammed the airport," Blossom Entertainment stated. 

"They called him the most beloved Korean star in (Thai) history."

The agency stated that Song was in Thailand to greet his fans. He played a variety of games and a meet and greet for about three hours at the Thunder Dome. Song was able to handshake everyone who came to the event.
