Lily James And Matt Smith News: Couple To Fight On Screen? Girlfriend Eyes Superhero Role Against Villain Boyfriend

Lily James and Matt Smith just recently shared the theater screens in their movie "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies."

The said movie, which was a an adaptation of Jane Austen's widely celebrated novel, showcased the acting skills of both actors in portraying the unexpected love, romance, horror, and zombies in the film.

Although James and Smith were reportedly having the same feelings about love since they are a currently a real couple, the "Downton Abbey" actress and the former "Doctor Who" star seemed to have a different vision in terms of what role to they want to portray.

According to BBC, Lily James revealed that after doing some action-packed sceneds as a zombie in "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," she wants to be an action superhero someday in her next films.

"When I heard the title, I was a bit confused,"James said. "I was slightly cynical about the idea of putting zombies into Jane Austen, but literally within a few pages of the script I was sold and I loved it."

"I thought, what a fresh, exciting, fun way to revisit this story. And it was this idea of being an action hero - I just loved it." she added. " I want to be an action hero forever more."

On the other hand, reports revealed that it's quite ironic for the couple since James' boyfriend is enjoying having a bad guy role in his acting gigs.

"I like playing bad guys. It sounds really wanky but I like getting into that psychology," Matt Smith told Empire. "It's fun. I mean, I did some really weird shit as Patrick Bateman. You can push your mind into really odd places."

"That was the great thing about being the Doctor: when you're starting out you're trying to get into character, so I'd run a bath in character as the Doctor and it was an interesting experience," he added.

Despite the differences, Matt Smith was vocal during their European movie premiere that he likes women who are kick-arse ninjas because he think it's cool and sexy, which is similar to Lily James' role.
