Depressed After Grammy Awards Performance? Adele Treats Herself In-N-Out Burger And Beer

Adele did what any of anybody, (if anybody were as famous as she is), would have done following a 2016 Grammy Awards performance full of glitches--eating an In-N-Out burger and having a beer.

Adele took to Twitter to share what she did after her Grammy performance by tweeting, "Because of it though... I'm treating myself to an in n out [sic]. So maybe it was worth it."

The "Someone Like You" hitmaker told Ellen DeGeneres, as quoted by Rolling Stone, that said she was so stressed by the glitches during her live performance that she wanted to do something about it onstage herself.

But she froze anyway.

She added she "spent much of the next day crying."

Everything seemed well when her performance began.

"But early into her live rendition of the ballad "All I Ask," it was clear that something was wrong," CNN.com said in a report.

A sound that could be heard over the production's audio systems that resembled a guitar string was reportedly a piano microphone that fell over the instrument's strings.

The technical team decided to go to a backup setup, which resulted in yet another technical glitch: a momentary silence during Adele's 2106 Grammy Awards performance.

"The singer looked distracted, flashing irritated looks as she powered through the song, backed only by a piano and bathed in a lone spotlight," CNN added.

Adele also took to Twitter to explain the temporarily botched Grammy Awards performance.

"The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. S--- happens," she said in her official Twitter account.

Neil Portnow, the president of The Recording Academy, the organization that hosts the 2106 Grammy Awards, also praised Adele for stepping up to the plate and giving a worthy performance even with all the technical glitches.

"To Adele's credit, she killed it, she did a fantastic job, the pro that she is," Portnow said, as quoted by CNN.
