'How To Train Your Dragon 3' Plot, News, Spoilers And Release Date; Hiccup And Toothless Part Ways
Yes! "How To Train Your Dragon" will be back in theaters as another sequel is coming entitled "How To Train Your Dragon 3." The upcoming installment will be based on the novel of Cressida Cowell. Here's the release date and latest spoilers we know about the plot of the next sequel.
According to new reports, the upcoming movie will be having a different plot as Vikings could be fighting with the dragons. The release date of the movie has also been rescheduled.
Reports claimed that Toothless and Hiccup will be going their separate ways as the dragons and humans will be having a conflict that will break each other's trust. The two characters will be having a clash which will separate them for good.
Director Dean DeBlois told Collider that "How To Train Your Dragon 3" will be featuring Drago's return. Rumors have been making rounds that he will manipulate Toothless to turn his back from Hiccup.
"[How to Train Your Dragon 3 is] the culmination of Hiccup's coming of age. Both he and Toothless are now chiefs of their respective tribes, and it's a dueling story where you have both characters trying to do what's right for their kind, and an eventual outcome where Hiccup is able to stand on his own," DeBlois said, Collider reported.
DeBlois also revealed some details about the plot of "How To Train Your Dragon 3."
"We're gonna take the story to where the books begin, which is Hiccup as an adult reflecting back on a time where there were dragons, suggesting that the dragons will in some way go away. Why and could they come back and the mystery of what all that is will be saved for the actual story," the filmmaker added.
The director of the movie said Hiccup's mother should have been a villain but they have altered the story.
"You have to wait until the third film to actually see where Drago’s character goes. He’s a lot more complex than he’s presented in this second installment," the director added.
The final release date of "How To Train Your Dragon 3" will be on June 29, 2018.
