Harry Potter fans across the globe will certainly scream again in excitement after author J.K. Rowling announced the future release of the 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' stage play script in book form on July 31. The release comes a day after its stage debut, following a massive demand from the public.

Sarah Begley for Times wrote that the book will be made available in digital form from Pottermore, J.K. Rowling's official "Harry Potter" website. It will also be published in hardbound cover by Scholastic in the United States, Little Brown in the United Kingdon and Hachette in Australia.

The book will be released in "Special Rehearsal Edition" and "Definitive Collector's Edition" versions.

The synopsis describes Harry grappling with the past while his youngest son named Albus struggles "with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places," The synopsis on Pottermore reads, as quoted from The Guardian's news report yesterday.

Rowling collaborated with director John Tiffany and writer Jack Thorne in creating the official sequel to the seven original Harry Potter books. The story of the 8th book is set 19 years after the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which will give focus on the journey of Albus Severus, Harry's youngest child, in the wizarding world.

"JK Rowling and her team have received a huge number of appeals from fans who can't be in London to see the play and who would like to read the play in book format," said the Chief Executive Officer of Little, Brown, David Shelley.

Meanwhile, Bloomsbury, the publisher of the seven original Harry Potter books in the United Kingdon, announced plans to release four new editions of the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone book next year to mark the 20th anniversary of the very first novel. Each of the books will represent the houses of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, namely Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
