‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 2' Movie Spoilers To See The Evil Side Of The Main Characters? James Gunn Talks!

One year prior its release date, could fans finally see some valid "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" spoilers?

In an a previous interview with Comic Book Resources, Marvel's top gun director James Gun gamely shared details as to how the sequel would progress.

In the interview, Gunn tried to explain to viewers how things may change in the upcoming sequel. 

"But then it's also about, who do I fall in love with?" He explained. "The truth is, before Guardians, I don't think very many people would have said, 'Oh, the character that is going to be most people's favorite is Groot.' I don't think anybody would have said that."

Furthermore, he did share how he make up with the story by listening to the audience, but at the same time considering all the possibilities that could come up for the movie.

"There's a process of discovery, and I'm not sure the characters who were the favorites from the last movie are going to be the favorites in the next movie. It's really about listening to the audience, but then keeping myself as open to discovery as possible, because I think that there's a lot of things that have gone unexplored and characters that have gone unexplored."

While he did not mention specific spoilers, Gunn's statement immediately fueled fans speculations that the sequel could possibly show the dark side of the main characters, after all, they are all villains from the start.

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" release date is set for May 5, 2017.
