Miley Cyrus is all set to join NBC's "The Voice" season 10 as an adviser to all the four coaches in the singing competition.

The former Disney star made the announcement on Twitter and Instagram in her trademark shock value.

Liam Hemsworth's alleged girlfriend posted a photo of herself licking one of the signature big red buttons used on the show, captioned as "Lickin @xtina buttonz! @NBCTheVoice #keyadviser #season10," as reported by Aol.

In "The voice" season 10, Miley Cyrus will reportedly serve as a chief adviser for all the four teams under the guidance of the four coaches.

Before Cyrus, the key advisers on the show included Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin, according to Business Standard.

"When Miley speaks everyone pays attention," said Paul Telegdy, NBC Entertainment president, alternative and late night programming, in a statement, as reported by CNN.

"Our artists are very lucky to have the benefit of her instincts and wisdom. Our viewers will be treated to an inside look at one of the brightest minds in music and the entertainment industry who is at the forefront of pop culture."

In addition to Miley Cyrus pitching in, "The Voice" season 10 will see another change with Christina Aguilera returning to the famous red swivel chair. She will be retaking the spot currently held by Gwen Stefani and joining other coaches, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams.

Aguilera was one of the first four judges of the reality show "The Voice" when it first premiered with its season 1 in spring 2011 on NBC.

But she went missing from the series for seasons 4, 6, 7 and 9. Levine and Shelton are the other two original judges who have remained in their red chairs for all the nine seasons aired thus far.

Watch Miley Cyrus act as mentor and consultant when "The Voice" season 10 returns on Monday, Feb. 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
