Peter Thomas Charged With Assault, Cynthia Bailey Had Enough Of Marriage Woes
The Real Housewives of Altanta star Cynthia Bailey is yet to live another nightmare from his husband, Peter Thomas, after being charged with alleged assault at his own bar, Radar reported Monday.
Thomas was charged with simple assault following a heated dispute with a bar patron in Charlotte, North Carolina last week.
A bar patron named Brandon Patrick Link, 45, claimed that he was "assaulted" in Sports One bar which is also owned by Thomas.
A spokesperson for the Mecklenburg District Court revealed that Thomas was charged again with assault the following day of the incident.
"Authorities found a compelling enough reason to call Mr. Thomas in for questioning," a source said. The sheriff also wanted to hear Thomas' side of the story and get more answers.
However, some cops who went to the site of the incident claimed in records that "no assault seemed to have occurred." The alleged victim seems to have gone to the magistrate's office with more detailed information on the fight, according to a police insider.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta husband is likely to serve with a criminal summons, a spokesperson from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office told Radar.
With another heated controversy involving Thomas, Bailey seemed to have had enough of marriage woes for the past 6 months. Apart from her husband's involvement to unlikely situations that may lead him behind bars, the reality show star had been keeping her sanity after her husband was caught fondling another woman and yet, still had denied cheating.
Following the series of rocky incidents in their marriage, Bailey has started questioning herself whether it's enough to hold on to love to keep their marriage.
"I'm not saying it's your [Thomas] fault. I just know that I'm unhappy," Bailey said.
