'Deadpool' Cast Member T.J. Miller Reveals Movie's Director's Cut Is Even More 'Raw'

Fox's marketing for "Deadpool" is at an all time high with the movie nearing its release in February. The highly-anticipated "X-Men" spin off has been promoting its R-rated nature in trailers and teasers, which has led to the film being banned for screening in China and a mother's petition for a PG-13 release.

But accoding to cast member T.J. Miller, the movie's director's cut is even more "raw."

"But yeah, so the idea that when you see the fall director's cut of it, that that's going to be even more raw, that's pretty heavy duty," Miller said in a statement published by Screen Rant.

Plans for a "Deadpool" solo movie came shortly after the character's debut in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." 

The "Wolverine" solo film failed to perform at the box office and the a draft of "Deadpool" leaked online, prompting Fox to cancel the spin off altogether.

"Deadpool" was eventually greenlit in late 2014 after test footage of the film reportedly made its way to Comic-Con International in San Diego. 

"Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after bei to ng subjecteda rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool," reads the movie's official synopsis. "Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life."

The movie features Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle a.k.a. Copycat, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust,  Ed Skrein as Ajax, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Fox's "Deadpool" movie arrives in theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
